Sea, kids & sun

What’s the first thing kids do when they get to the beach? Nothing, not even chocolate ice-cream with sprinkles, will stop them from running straight into the water, then rolling in the sand and going back in for a swim. For hours on end. If you have already managed to put a swimsuit on them (and an anti-UV t-shirt if they’re lucky), don't even think of covering them with suncream without wriggling or screaming, and there’s no way you’ll be able to keep them under a parasol...

Of course, it’s essential to keep them out of the sun during the peak hours of the day when the sun is at it’s strongest - from 12 to 4 pm - and here are some tips to make your beach routine easier. I recommend covering your kids with cream before going to the beach - the organic filters work 30 minutes after application and the mineral filters work immediately - and once you have arrived at the beach, the cream will have already penetrated and dried.
